Chippies
Every year I get a bunch of baby chicks for my AP students to train in class. It means that the weekend before I get to house those chicks in our house. Cooper looks forward to it every year and now Cameron likes them too! This year was the first year Cooper shed tears when they had to leave. No more chippies...:(
Cooper's new bike
Okay, I swore I wouldn't "bribe" my kids to be potty trained. But hey, if it works why not? (Especially once who have experienced cleaning up accidents!) So, Brenden and Cooper headed down to the local bike shop to look at bikes. Cooper found the perfect blue bike and then the talk about using the potty ALL of the time started to take place. Brenden proposed the idea to Cooper that they could get the bike on specific terms: every time Cooper did his poop in the potty he could ride his bike. If he had an accident then it would get hung up in the garage until he proved his potty abilities again. Cooper thought about this for about 20 laps (on the bike) around the bike store. He finally decided that this deal sounded okay. So, home they came with a new bike. Dad let him make two laps around the drive to show me before it was hung up. No sooner had the bike stopped moving on the hook--Cooper eagerly stated, "Mom, I have to go poop!" So off we went and ever since Cooper has become a potty pro! Not to mention a pretty good little biker.

Beater Eating. . .
Pizza night
To keep things fun we are learning that buddies are always a plus for activities--both parents and kids! Our good friends came over for a fun night of pizza, hot tubbing, and kid movie bliss! (Although the pizza wasn't as good as normal I think we all had fun!) It's a must to do again- - -the hot tub ending time was much disputed.
Hanging out inside. . .
After Christmas we did finally get a couple weeks of crappy air. So, inside play became a little tricky keeping them entertained. But we have managed. Cooper loves to help make bread, paint, anything that involves him and someone's attention. Cameron just wants to copy everything he does. So, as long as Cam can somewhat be involved, we are all happy! Luckily, when Brenden gets home from work, wrestling with dad is always great!
Cooper also became a "Sunbeam" at church. Which, when it comes to class time he LOVES! He has to be the leader down the hall. But in Primary, with all the other kids, he's still a little shy. He has 5 other boys his age, no girls (poor teachers!)
Bath time with the two boys!
Well, every since Cameron has finally gotten big enough to hold his own (And Cooper able to understand that he has to be gentle with Cam) bath time has become very wet and somewhat entertaining. Cameron loves to bath! Not too hot on a shower. Cooper. . . it just depends on the day. Sometime only a shower will do.
